- This award is given to an individual or organization that has recently contributed to the development of the Japanese home videogame industry.
Games of the Year Division
- All games that were released onto the Japanese market between April 1, 2012, and March 31, 2013,are eligible for these awards.
Future Division
- All pre-release games, which will be presented and exhibited at the "TOKYO GAME SHOW 2013" fromSeptember 19 to September 22, 2013, are eligible for these awards.
Amateur Division
- All non-professionally produced games, regardless of the applicant's status (juridical entity, organization,or individual), are eligible for these awards.
