Japan Game Awards 2008 ::: OVERVIEW - Award Categories
The "Japan Game Awards 2008" will be awarded in the following three categories.
Category 1: Games of the Year Division
All games that were released onto the Japanese market between April 1, 2007, and March 31, 2008, are eligible for these awards.
Category 2: Future Division
All pre-release games, which will be presented and exhibited at the "TOKYO GAME SHOW 2008" from October 9 to October 23, 2008, are eligible for these awards.
Category 3: Amateur Division
All non-professionally produced games, regardless of the applicant's status (corporate, organization or individual), are eligible for these awards.
