Work Introduction
Here is the first appearance of the latest work of familiar party game as home game machine, "Mario Party" in DS.
If there is a DS for the number of people, you can face and play it by a board map and a mini-game up to four people by single software.
Because it is only the mini-game of the simple rule, even the beginners can enjoy the play without hesitation.
There are more than 60 kinds of varieties of mini-game such as surrounding the KURIBO using the touch pen and catch it, slicing the cucumber, and blowing breath on a microphone to put out fire of a fuse, etc.
To make a single players enjoy it more, we recorded 5 kinds of puzzle games which was popular in each series such as to clear a board map and aim the final stage.
[ Mario Party DS ] is a game which you can enjoy alone, and of course, it is a game that you can enjoy with many people as well.

Thank you for an excellent prize of Japan Game Grand Prix 2008 this time. People who are concerned are all pleased so much.
We started developing "Mario Party DS" from thinking about "what's not only Mario Party, but Mario Party DS" that users expect for us.
We repeated trial and error in various ways from there, but at first, we went back to the origin of the Mario party series, and putting the concept as "a game to be able to enjoy noisily together", and finally we were able to finish "Mario party DS" as the latest work of the series than being particular about a function and a characteristic of DS.
We can feel that "the Mario party series" is supported by a lot of people by having such a prize. We think repaying the kindness is to make more interesting "Mario Party" from now on.
