This is a brand new game that uses “Goro Majima,“ one of the most popular character in the series in the world after “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.”
The battle action is a signature of the series. New factors including jumps are added. Majima can also use his new Sea Dog style.
His ship can be customized in many ways: swapping out cannons in cannon battles, deck battles where sailors board the enemy’s ship, flamethrowers and lasers. In addition, the game has playspots full of speedrun elements.

Captain the “Goromaru,” a pirate ship of the “Goro Pirates” led by Majima, as you explore the vast ocean. In addition to new refreshing battle actions, the game is full of playspots full of speedrun elements.
In this game, you can explore the vast ocean, steering the ship called the “Goromaru” with crews in the “Goro Pirates” formed by Majima. You’ll discover treasure islands, lighthouses, and various other locations. At the same time, many dangerous enemies lurk to wait, and you may have to go to “pirate battle,” fighting another ship. After sending volleys of cannonballs into the enemy ship's hull, board their ship with your crew and brawl it out to secure victory!

When we produced this game “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii,” we naturally created an exciting human drama, and at the same time, we aimed for an epic adventure action game, which drastically exceeds the framework of the past games in this series.
This spinoff provides game volume sufficient for players to fully enjoy the game: speedy and exciting battle actions by “Goro Majima,” the evillest yakuza; hot cannon battles while operating pirate's ships; rich play spots in Hawaii, etc.
Luckily, not only series fans but also users who experienced this series for the first time highly evaluated the game.
