The latest Digimon Story series, a popular line of monster-taming role-playing games (RPGs).
The protagonist, an agent of the secret paranormal investigation organization “ADAMAS,” is suddenly thrown 8 years into the past following a mysterious explosion.
After an encounter with a Digimon, they travel come and go between the human and digital worlds to uncover the truth behind the world's destruction.
This latest game features a series-record of 450 or Digimon.
Besides, it introduces “Cross Arts” to support Digimon mid-battle, along with “Agent Skills,” which allow players to power up their Digimon and Cross Arts, and expand evolution paths.
The franchise's signature thrill of raising a unique party — by utilizing evolution, degeneration, and skill customization — is more exciting than ever.
The game won the award after receiving widespread support from both long-time fans and a broad audience as the first new title in eight years.

While making this game fully enjoyable for the fans who have supported us for so long is our top priority, our vision has always been broader. We want to reintroduce the special magic that only Digimon has to people who don't know it yet, and to those who may have forgotten how much they loved it.

This game celebrates its 30th anniversary in June 2027, next year.
It's going to be a massive year. We will see significant momentum not just for the games, but for the entire “Digimon” IP moves. Please do look forward to the development of Digimon, including major DLC.
