We felt that this game that uses the method of "projecting the shadows of objects" was a very straightforward choice for the theme of "Utsusu."
Because it is straightforward, the question is how to make it into a game.
"Projection" is a very well-made and interesting game that easily jumps over this hurdle.
"We thought about shadow projection from the theme of "Utsusu," and designed a 3D stage that moves the light source, the action element consisting of the 2D stage which is the projection target, and the game system with the puzzle element. Then, as a mechanism to make the user want to project shadows within this game system, we created the world view of “A princess journeying to change the world of shadows into the world of light. A fairy lamp leads the princess to the world of light as she is chased by soldiers from the castle during her journey.” Finally, we designed characters and sounds to express this world view…"
From this game that seems to have been made in this way, we can feel many ingenious ideas and careful attention to detail from the developers.
It is a game with a very high level of perfection, not being limited by the theme but succeeding in using the theme to fully entertain the user.
Thank you very much for giving us the enjoyment of playing the game. Congratulations on winning the award!

An action puzzle game where a princess who lives in a world of shadows is led to a colorful world of light.
The key to the game strategy is to project and eliminate shadows. The player controls the lamp fairy according to the situation of the path on which the princess is walking, and leads the princess while projecting and eliminating the necessary shadows.
At cliffs where the road is interrupted on the way, the player shines light from the lamp on a rectangular box to project its shadow and create a path forward.
The player must instantly judge the angle, distance, and height, etc. between the object to be lit and the lamp in accordance with the sizes and shapes of obstacles, and for high walls, bring the lamp closer to the object to project a large shadow, or conversely make the lamp jump to eliminate the shadow for shadows that are in the way, in order to help the princess.
It is a highly strategic game with a unique world view on the theme of light and shadow that requires instant judgment from the player.
