Monsters with a complex biology live in this magnificent natural setting. In this hunting action game players who earn their living by hunting become hunters in this realistic world and undertake a variety of quests and continue to aim for higher goals.
This title inherits the elements of "Monster Hunter 3 (Tri)" while being completely redesigned for the Nintendo 3DS.
This title provides many elements including a wide variety of monsters, the rich array of weapons and protective gear, the Moga Village story that was added, the bustling Tanjia Harbour, realistic Underwater Combat, and the engaging G-Level Quests.
Also, in addition to the series' conventional operation, you can also customize the panel to meet your taste, use touch screen operation, and experience a rich hunting life using communication elements like network play with hunting partners and Aimless Hunters, as well as regular distribution of "event quests."

Our objective for this title was significantly increasing the volume based on Monster Hunter 3 (Tri), which was released in 2009, and fully utilizing the features of the 3DS. This was our first title for 3DS, so we had to overcome a variety of difficulties, but we were able to release it with the support and cooperation of many people. I want to thank all those who were involved with the project.
I also want to especially thank the users who have always supported the Monster Hunter series.
The latest title in the series, Monster Hunter 4, is also under development, and we are giving it our all so that you can also enjoy it, so we ask for your continued support of the Monster Hunter series.
