The expansive map and beautiful graphics of this story drawn over a grand scale where the story develops based on the number of players has been wildly praised as an RPG with an extreme degree of freedom, which was the basis for this award.
This is a new adventure Elder Scrolls adventure by Bethesda Game Studios led by Todd Howard, Game of the Year award winner in 2006 and 2008.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim achieves a completely open world that provides many choices so users can act out exactly how they want to live with the characters just as they want them to be.
The game employs "Radiant Story," a story management system that directly reflects player actions in the game world. The NPC attitude and actions change based on a large quantity of information, including friendships within the game, to generate the quests.
The new "Creation Engine" provides an impressive game world that seems to have been brought to life by generating undulating clouds, majestic mountains, and natural beauty that will take your breath away as well as a variety of dungeons. A dragon also appears in the series for the first time ever.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a classic and supreme fantasy RPG.
I am very honored to have received the prestigious Japan Game Awards Grand Award. A great deal of text and audio translation was required for Japanese users to enjoy the grand world view.
I am very happy that all of that hard work allowed many users to enjoy this title.
The Elder Scrolls continues to evolve. We will continue to strive so that you in Japan can continue to enjoy this series and wonderful game as part of your entertainment.
