This is an innovative game design that is set in the sky.
The symbolically individualistic world view created by the tone shaded graphics and game music has been praised as "unprecedented," "innovative," and "next-generation game" by many users, which led to the presentation of this award.
■Introduction
The aerial city Hekseville was built to encompass a large pillar.
This is the start to the adventure of Gravity Kittun, a girl who wakes up having lost her memory.
Kitttun, who meets Dusty, the Gravity Cat, and becomes a gravity master, faces a gravity storm that could destroy the city and the monster Nevi and strives to return the city that has been taken by the storm.
Kittun, who has grown strong by battling powerful enemies, such as Crowe, another girl who is a gravity master, finally is close to discovering the true nature of the threat to the city and the mystery behind her memory loss.
This is a new sensation "gravity action adventure" by Keiichiro Toyama, who worked on the SIREN series.
■Never before experienced "gravity orbit action"
Full use is made of the PS Vita motion sensor and the left and right analog sticks to control the gravity. Defeat your enemies with a "gravity kick" that utilizes drop acceleration.
■The gravity change enables dazzling speed and an unrestrained floating experience.
Various directions can be defined as "down" as you run around the 3D city. You can control the gravity to make the ground and walls into slopes to move at super high speed through the city. Reversing the gravity makes it seem as if the sky is falling!
■Beautiful gravity alien world is drawn on the organic EL display
The detailed graphics make everything look attractive. Try to master this deep story that plays out across this beautiful and attractive world!
■Award History
The main visual was chosen for the 2012 INTO THE PIXEL Collection as a representative work for the year from the video game art works from around the world.
I am very grateful to the users who played GRAVITY DAZE and the representatives who have honored me with this game.
Creating a completely new gave for as yet unseen new hardware was much harder than I imagined, and I was worried all the time that it would not be successful.
However, the high autonomy and devotion of the team members and the much luck provided breakthroughs that made this a very memorable project.
This was an ambitious experiment and there were many rough areas, but I am very grateful for the unexpectedly great support from everyone.
All of us on the team will continue to strive to create new value and as for your ongoing support.
