This award was given for the new elements of passing time and weather changes in addition to the 3D support and face tracking function as well as the latest technology and commanding quality that express the fun of driving.

This is the latest title in the GT Series, known for its beautiful graphics and real action.
The physical action simulation engine has been renewed to provide the series’ ultimate driving.
Over 1,000 models, the most for the series, have been registered, including the latest cars and carts from various countries.
Further, in addition to support for 3D stereoscopic vision and the added face tracking function, increased player value is provided by the vehicle damage expression that has been long awaited by fans and time lapsing and weather changes during the race.
The online elements have been greatly expanded, including competition among many people and numerous community functions.
An A-spec mode for driving and a B-spec mode for managing the race as the manager have been established to meet the user’s preference for play.
GT5, with the greatest volume and highest quality in the series, will pioneer a new age in race games.

Both the creator and the production team are thrilled that a title that we created has won this award.
It reminds us of how happy we were to also receive this award in 1998.
Although it has been a long time since then and the series is now into its 5th title, Gran Turismo 5, receiving an award like this inspires us to make the next title.
Thank you very much.
