大賞・優秀賞選考理由

This game was given the award for the great skill in which it allows beginners to advanced players and people of all ages to enjoy the game together all the way to the end.

This is a Mario adventure that can be taken by one person, a group, and accomplished by everybody.
This is the latest release in the Super Mario Brothers series.

Operation is simple using just the "+" button and two buttons, and this release utilizes the motion sensor of the Wii Remote Controller to allow Mario to transform into Propeller Mario to fly in the sky or Ice Mario and Penguin Mario, etc., to allow users to freely move a more powerful Mario to enjoy brisk action.

In addition, users can explore a world with around 80 courses in which appear a variety of enemies and traps, such as borrowing the power of Yoshi, so you won't get bored with this game even if you play it frequently.

The multiple player function allows up to 4 players, so you can pit yourself against friends or work together to clear levels or be rivals in competing to get the most coins.

In addition, if you are having trouble clearing a stage, you can view the "Example Play" that automatically clears the course.

The concept for making Super Mario Brothers using Wii was clear—it was to be a new, but unchanging Mario.

This Mario allows fans who have been enjoying Mario for many years and people experiencing the series for the first time using the DS "New Super Mario Brothers," to play together from the same starting line. A variety of multiple player options were achieved, which was the main theme for this release and a dream of many years for the creators.

This is the first multiple player version of the series and was made possible using the power of the Wii machine, but another objective was to incorporate new Mario action and unique course gimmicks to provide anxiety-free play for everyone while not disappointing the expectations of fans.

Receiving such an award as this was made possible by the support of the many Mario fans, for which we are grateful. In addition, 2010 is the 25th anniversary of the birth of the Super Mario Brothers, so this award is one way to commemorate the occasion.

Thank you very much.
