This is the first portable game software for the Dragon Quest series, one of the leading RPG for Japanese families.
The lead character this time is an "angel." When the "world tree" that support the angel world bears the "goddess fruit," the "Heaven's Ark" visits and opens the way to the Kingdom of God…
One day, a terrifying thing happens in this world of legend…
This is the first release of the series to support multiple players. Up to 4 players can set off on an adventure. In addition, an occupation changing system allows for unlimited growth and a variety of character making elements have been incorporated to provide a game system with a high degree of freedom.
Further, there are many other elements that can be enjoyed each time a quest or automatically generated dungeon, such as the "Treasure Map" are cleared. Of particular interest is the passing communication function, that allows players to exchange battle histories and treasure maps.
I am very grateful to receive the Japan Game Awards Award for Excellence and the Best Sales Award.
We developed DQIX as the first mobile game player software for the series to achieve a "Dragon Quest that can be played by everyone."
To be frank, we were concerned if people would appreciate a Dragon Quest version for mobile game players, but we were fortunate that the multiple player function has been popular and that the passing communication function that allows used treasure maps the be exchanged has been enjoyed more than we imagined, so we are quite pleased.
It wasn't easy getting this product to launch, but I am very grateful for the development staff members who overcame all the obstacles and made it possible to receive this award.
