Japan Game Awards 2007
"CESA Student Game" and "Indies Division" are unified to form "Amateur Division" to accept non-professional works.
Applications for the "Amateur Division " is accepted from Monday, March 19, to Saturday, July 30.
The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA, chaired by Wada Yo Ichi, located in Nishi-shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo) is a computer entertainment software products awards ceremony which has been renamed to the "Japan Game Awards."
The award ceremony is held to highlight and award leading products in the computer entertainment software industry from 1996. Together with the "Tokyo Game Show", the main award which has been celebrated every year during the last ten years is too familiar to the Game Fan. The "Japan Game Awards" is named in other to indicate that it should be well evaluated in the other country on a large scale and also, it represents for Japan - the leader of game entertainment in the world.
The "Japan award 2007" is held to honour the successful products which were released in the country area last year. Once again nominations and awards will be carried out in three separate categories, namely; "Tokyo Game show 2007" for released products; "Future Division" for pre-release products; and "Amateur Division" for non-professionally produced products.
About the "Indies Division" for non-manufacture work, we integrated it with "Cesa Student Game Award" for students to found "Amateur Division" aimed to honour the excellent game, regardless of its creator is student or general developer.

From 2007, April 1 to 2007, March 31, there is a "Annual year Product Division" and during the middle of April, general vote will begin. And on the "Tokyo Game Show 2007", throughout the exhibit product of "Future Division", we'll working on the attenders' vote in the "Tokyo Game Show 2007" meeting place.
This year's awards ceremony, in which awards in various categories will be issued including the coveted Grand Award like before, has been set to take place at this year's "TOKYO GAME SHOW 2007" held in Makuhari Messe this September.
Beside the "Japan Game Awards ", throughout the main award of the ceremony, together with the willing of the developer to find out and cultivate the talent person, the more we can find the more we can satisfy the people with various products and spread the splendor and pleasure of Computer Entertaiment, contribute to further development of game industry through the "Japan Game Awards" .
