Players are to swim in the sea of ink as a squid and paint any and all places as a human.
Tricolor-battle where three teams participate at the same time and Season System are introduced while succeeding basic rules that players are divided into two teams of four members and compete for the painted area. New Buki, special weapons and battle actions are added.
The title received support from many users, both men and women, as an enjoyable game for wide range of generations from children. This is why it won the award.

You can play it with friends face to face gathering together carrying a Nintendo Switch, not to mention that you can play it online with friends or strangers.

It is really an honor to receive Award for Excellence.
We created “Splatoon 3” aiming at an enjoyable game for those who play Splatoon for the first time as well as fans of the series.
The title celebrated the 1st anniversary on September nine. We are very grateful that a lot of players are still playing it.
Outside the game, we are holding “Splatoon Koshien 2023” gathering many players.
We created elementary school student division this year and we are feeling that a new wind is blowing seeing that elementary school players who started to play the game from “Splatoon 3” or just lately fight putting adults to shame.
As we announced that we are going to provide updates for two years after the release, we will continue to bring “Splatoon 3” to life providing Buki and stage of each season, adding catalogs, and holding in-game events such as festivals and big runs, event matches, Byte Team Contest, and so on.
