Reason

There are various kinds of games and the number of them is getting vastly larger every year.
No user can understand the feeling of a game until actually touching it. The game can only get a head start by having a user choose it from a wide range of games to play.
Therefore, game creators have to be creative in the perspective, asking themselves, “How can we get the user to play our game?”
There are so many titles that players can choose from. Therefore, to begin with, it is important to make them interested in a game. To do so, unique visual attraction and worldview are required, and the talent to create them is an important quality for creators.
In recent years, as the expressive power of hardware has been increased, large-scale development has resulted in a realistic expression that could be mistaken for reality, and high-end graphics such as super-animated expressions reach the peak of prosperity. On the other hand, the amount of graphic information quantity is deliberately “subtracted” and simplified to make the themes we want to express in our works more impressive. These creative games have been accepted by many people.
However, this “subtraction” expression requires creators to choose the most appealing points of the game in accordance with the theme, and the creator's sense is extremely important, and even among professionals in the game industry, creators with this ability are quite rare.

Under the circumstance, we felt that the level of total direction of this work's graphics and UI was high, and that it was a work of a creator with a professional level of creativity in visual attraction. Expecting the entrant has a great future, we chose this “Diver” for an Honorable Mention Award.
In addition, the game's structure makes it possible to view “messages” as play rewards by piling up blocks to clear stages with the “collection of lost records” centering around the game's play cycle. I feel this worked well in stimulating the desire to “know the worldview” and encouraging continuity,
However, it is a pity that there is almost no depth of “thinking,” “discovery,” or “play” in the “play” part of the game, where a player piles up blocks and clear stages. When a player continues to play, he/she experiences only a repetitive task, and the game does not provide players with a “sense of achievement” or “satisfaction.”
It was also disappointing that the game was not designed to satisfy the “desire” that a user expected from the prior information to “know the worldview,” which is the motivation for continuing to play this game, and that there were neither “messages” nor “gimmicks” to “learn” and “understand” the world during play.
Despite the simple game structure, the attractive visual worldview makes it very easy for a player to start the game, and the UI that matches the design does not interfere with the gameplay, but serves as a function that makes the worldview more appealing. I guess this would be a better game if the entrant could improve the game experience as a “play.”
I hope those involved in this project will gain further experience and create new products in the game industry.

Work Introdution

In this game, the sound of the theme is the “carbonation fizzy sound.”
An action puzzle set in a carbonated environment.
A player controls Diver and drops blocks to generate bubbles for a certain amount of time, and then ride blocks floated with the power of the bubbles to reach the water surface within the time limit.
If a player stacks the blocks well, he/she will gain great buoyancy and increases his/her surfacing speed.
However, the number of blocks that can be used is limited.
It is also important to collect fallen pieces to regenerate blocks so as not to be crushed by them.
In this game, the sound of the theme is the “carbonation fizzy sound” and this image is reflected not only in the game's design, but also in its graphics and sound.
Furthermore, this game is unique and of high quality such as the bar-like background and cocktail names given for stage names.
