The game won the prize because: Realization of multi-player that can be played by up to four people, the fun of “manufacturing” that has been drastically powered up, and a story that makes your heart warm. In addition, there were a lot of supports for the enjoyment that continues to spread even after launch, such as updates and download contents that reflect user requests, and user-submitted contents.
Create the world, destroy the destiny
In “Dragon Quest Builders 2 Destruction God Shido and Karajima Island,” software for PlayStation®4 / Nintendo Switch™, a main character aims at being a full-fledged builder and gathers threads of his story. The game belongs to a genre of Block Action PRG. A player can enjoy a big adventure of saving the world as well as manufacturing like sandbox playing. In addition to manufacturing element, which is largely powered up from the previous game, the game realized “multi-player” that can be played by up to four people. The range of playing the game is widened by downloading paid contents and free updates.
