Game Description
MONSTER HUNTER PORTABLE In this action game, the hunts take place in a world with an ecology of its own, a world that's populated by mighty monsters. The players use various combinations of weapons and armor in a series of quests. This version, which includes most of the elements from Monster Hunter G, has additional original elements, such as Ailu the cooking cats and Kokoto Farm. The player can put the cats at Ailu Kitchen to work cooking meals that alter the hunter's attributes. The hunter can expand the farm and gather various ingredients and items that are useful for increasing his or her abilities. The game's "ad hoc mode" enables you to start new quests with your friends. Other new features for the portable game unit include web distribution of downloadable quests via the PSP's "infrastructure mode."

Comment from the Game Producer
MONSTER HUNTER PORTABLE We feel honored to receive such a wonderful award. The creation of Monster Hunter Portable started under the concept of making it easy for anyone to enjoy Monster Hunter using the "online mode."
Recently, people from students to adults can be seen on street corners and train cars enjoy games online. Every time we see people playing portable games online, we realize that our concept in developing this game was on the mark, and we feel gratified.
The team, which is developing Monster Hunter Portable 2nd, is focusing on creating a game that will surpass this one and provide the joy of play to you all. Expect big things from the coming game.
