CESA has selected and awarded computer entertainment software
without the limitation of a computer platform for past 5 years. This year, CESA
has renewed its contents by adding a new category that awards pre-released games
that may have the most impact on gaming entertainment in the future.
"GAME AWARDS 2001-2002" is for the games that were released in Japan between January
1, 2001 and March 31, 2002, and "GAME AWARDS FUTURE" is for the pre-released games
that will be presented at the "Tokyo Game Show" on September 20-22, 2002. The
Grand Award and the Awards for Excellence will be presented to the games with
the highest ratings.
