Reason

“Ideal physics puzzle that tasks player’s brain with joy”

Under the theme of ☆, a player should figure out a puzzle by creating a constellation and takes a hamster to the goal. Other games have the same idea of “creating constellation” by connecting stars. But this game shows a wide variety of combinations in thinking how to “create constellation” including what order should be used to connect stars, whether stars should be connected or not, what timing the constellation should be realized. The game was well designed to task player’s brain with joy.

UI and tutorials are easy to understand. How to connect stars is simple but it is really deep to play. After a process of trial and error in maps which are difficult to get full points I fully devoted myself to the game until I cleared all stages. Hamu☆star is another “☆.” Its straight movement with all its might is so cute and the details of its reactions and motions are created.  I felt the developer’s meticulous tastes.

The total completeness and the quality of the game are very high. I wish for their future success. Congratulations for the Award for Excellence!

Work Introdution

The physics puzzle game that creates a route by dropping a constellation created by connecting stars and leads a hamster to the goal.

A player uses various gimmicks such as a jump ramp and big rocks other than the constellation at a suitable timing to go ahead, and gets a “constellation drop,” a fraction of star at the goal.

There are 27 stages in total, and there is more than one way to win the stages. The player feels his/her thinking is challenged and wants to keep playing the game. The game is highly completed including the world view of the inside of a picture-card show, 3D graphics, original BGM and SE, and father more, realistic recreation of gimmicks movement in elaborate physics calculations.
