Reason

The game combines the basic purpose of looking for Hoshi-chan by switching the 2D/3D mode with elements to get higher scores by collecting oxygen and linking combos. The stage structure looked simple, but I think the concept, the level of performance, and the technical capability are more than average.

The game initiates a kind of trick art structure to find the optimal arrangement by revolving planets in the 3D mode. In the 2D mode, I experienced the exhilarating feeling in collecting oxygen and Hoshi-chan simultaneously. The graphics were impressive: they were simple but showed the world view.

Congratulations for the award.

Work Introdution

A puzzle game where a player moves from planet to planet, replenish oxygen while collecting Hoshi-chan on the planet.

The player can overlook the space among planets in the 3D mode, and when the planets are overlapped, switches to the 2D mode, and moves on to three flattened and overlapped planets to collect oxygen and Hoshi-chan together. Hoshi-chan cannot be collected unless it is placed on the walking orbit in the 2D mode. The important point to win the game is to find the best place to collect Hoshi-chan in the 3D mode in advance.

When oxygen runs out, the game is over. And there is a limit on the switch frequency into the 2D mode. Scores may double depending on how many times oxygen is acquired, the number of combos, and the number of combos to collect Hoshi-chan. By linking combos well, the player aims at getting high scores.

This game provides a unique style of trick art and the exhilarating feeling at the time of collection.
