Since the software was introduced on December 1, 2011, until the end of March this year, it sold 1.62 million copies in Japan and as of the end of June has sold 5.24 million copies worldwide.

"Mario Cart 7" is the latest in the "Mario Cart" series where Mario and his friends drive racing carts against each other while maneuvering to win.
 
This 7th title in the series expands the race around the world by flying through the air and submerging beneath the ocean.
 
You can also customize your cart by selecting the chassis, tires, and gliders before racing.
 
You can communicate over the Internet as well as with people nearby to allow up to 8 players domestically or overseas to compete against each other.

The overall concept of "Mario Cart" is to enjoy communicating with family and friends while racing.
"Mario Cart 7" is the best developed in this sense.
 
We also made an effort to 3D vision of the Nintendo 3DS to create a natural 3D effect and smooth image display.
 
We would be happy if this allows more people to experience playing 3D games.
