The Grand Award of the "GAME AWARDS 2004-2005" went to
"DRAGON QUEST VIII SORATO UMITO DAICHITO NOROWARESHI HIMEGIMI"
Eleven titles received a "GAME AWARDS FUTURE" prize.
Mr. Yoshihiro Daimon from Technical Computer Club, Toyama Prefectural University, won the Grand Prize of the
"GAME AWARDS INDIES"
for his 'AMIDA The Soldier on The Bridge'.
The 9th CESA GAME AWARDS Ceremony was held at Meguro Gajoen in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, on Oct. 27, 2005.
In this year's "GAME AWARDS 2004-2005", one Grand Award, thirteen Awards for Excellence, one Best Sales Award, Global Award each for a Japanese product and a foreign product, and one Special Award, were presented to outstanding entries. In the "GAME AWARDS FUTURE" category, which recognizes qualified pre-release products exhibited in TOKYO GAME SHOW 2005, eleven titles were chosen to receive an award.
In the "GAME AWARDS INDIES," for which pre-manufactured products are eligible, one winner for the Grand Prize and one winner for an Award for Excellence were selected.
